It was just as expected, old but sort of clean, except for the garbage can which was full of waste from previous guests, immediately upon check in. Notified reception and it was remedied on the minute. Nothing nice or luxurious, just convenient for 1 night at the center of the town.

We booked for the rose festival and were right across the street for all the action. Parking is on the street outside and we didn’t have an issue with it (also free to park on weekends). Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great with lots of hot and cold options. And the room was SO SO comfortable and well decorated

The location is in the center of the city.
The staff was very friendly especially Peter and Svetlana who are the chefs, they were very nice, and also Peter gave us an explanation about his rose garden. definitely they made our stay great and unforgettable.
The shower was very cool, with a lot of high-tech streams to choose from - rain, waterfall, jets. you wouldn't expect it from this small place.
They left a wine for our welcoming.

Kazanluk is an amazing town, very clean and plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from. It is close to the Buzludja and Freedom monuments, the Koprinka Dam and only an hour's drive to the Etar Ethnological village. The town itself offers plenty of small museums, a fantastic park and lots of other things for people to do.

Great place for at least 2-3 days. Every season is interesting. People are very nice. The ladies in this town are very stylish. Surprisingly there is a variety of restaurants - not only traditional Bulgarian mehana. For example greek restaurant Meraki serves 5-star meals! The valley of the thracian kings is worth visiting.

Kazanlŭk does not appear to be a tourist centre which is a pity because it has a lot to offer to hight intelligence tourists. it would certainly not suit the type of holiday maker who wishes to sit on a beach and "enjoy a low-IQ holiday."

First, I recommend to visit the Tourist Office and get the free map of the city. The city's most important places to visit are the famous Thracian tomb and the park around it, and several museums and ancient houses. The city is the center of the rose-growing industry that produces rose oil, rose jam, perfume etc. Be sure to visit the town of Shipka, that has an important church and another relevant Thracian tomb. For people who love to hike, the city is an excellent starting point (Shipka peak, Buzludzha monument, etc). In the city you find cheap and excellent restaurants. Kazanlŭk is cleaner than most Bulgarian cities that I have visited.

We stayed in Kazanluk for the epress purpose of sightseeing and were not disappointed. The town itself is lively, plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes to choose from and everyone we met was really friendly. We were within easy driving distance of everything we wanted to see and would recommend travelers to the area visit Koprinka Dam, the village of Shipka to see the Memorial Church, Buzludja monument and the Freedom memorial. The furthest point, Buzludja, could be reached in under an hour up a long snaking pass, the road isn't that great in places though.
Here you can also find the Valley of the Thracian Kings - lots of tombs open to the public - and in May/June, the Rose Festival takes place.
The staff. The girl on reception, Marie I think, when we arrived, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We had messaged ahead to explain that i had just come out of hospital that day and had very limited mobility and she was exceptionally helpful in making my life as easy as possible. The hotel itself is situated right in the heart of Kazanluk but was not noisy at all. Everything was clean and in good order. This hotel is great value for money. Would definitely recommend it.
Wow! I can’t express how impressed I was with this hotel.
The room was so spectacular that I had to video call my kids to give them a guided tour! I can’t remember ever staying in a more impressive room.
Not only was the decor amazing but the fixtures were all of a very high quality.
The buffet breakfast was fresh, well stocked and tasty. They even had one of those conveyor toasters that actually toasted bread. What a novelty!
I liked the fact that I was immediately let to the parking to charge my e-car. I was afraid that the hotel might charge additionally for the parking (the car charging is fairly priced anyway). I was very happy that was not the case.
The room was very spacious. The facilities still look new and taken care of.
The breakfast was very rich and the food had acceptable quality.
Very nice, comfy and beautiful room. Superb design. Location is very central. The hostess was very kind. She let me park the car inside, but there is also street parking as well in case hotel is busy.
Hotel has no breakfast, but that is not an issue, as 5 minutes from it there is excellent Italian bakery - highly recommended, outperforms any hotel breakfasts)
The hotel is nicely located and the staff is absolutely polite and supportive. If you want to understand, what customer-orientation really means, you should stay in this hotel. Breakfast selection is rich, and the lunch and dinner menu is excellent. Good selection of wines in any price range. This was definitely not the last time for me visiting this hotel.
Very clean, comfortable beds, VERY close to places of interest to tourists. The room had a balcony with seating that we used a lot. Wifi was strong and consistent. Hotel staff friendly and helpful and offered to make a very nice breakfast for a fair price. Loved having windows that open. Working hair dryer.
Location was great -5min walk from the center of Kazanluk! The apartment was warm (our stay was in the middle of winter) accommodation were great, the bed was comfortable and appreciated having a couch to watch some TV. I would definitely recommend it!
Hotel right at the city center. Overlooking the central squere and a main street from the room balcony. Nice roof terrace - rose garden with splended view. Abundant breakfast. Free fruits in the bar, a welcome bottle of wine in the roon. Kind staff.
completely comfortable efficiency apartment which comes with parking. we had a great sleep and the a/c worked well. usually quiet but there was a party in the opposite hotel. the A/C and (screened) window blocked everything.
Very clean, spacious, well-equiped and comfortable apartment. The host is extremely polite. The location is great, near the city centre and a restaurant in a hotel with very good cuisine. Recommend it!
Stay for the annual peak day for rose festival. This hotel is price acceptable and good location one. Beside the park where have stalls and stage for cultural performance.
This "thing" (it is not a real hotel, nor a guesthouse or anything, I don't even know how to name it) is a wannabe fancy place, but it is a total mistake.
