Very expensive, the tax is hilarious and not as much as I expected. There are a lot of huge tourists and, of course, you have to pay for everything. The truth is that we stopped because it was a flight stopover and next time I hope to stay in a nearby town.

For Duomo and art gallery advise to book online before your visit. For the last supper, online as soon as you can. Transport great, day trip to Bergamo on train and train/lake cruise to Bellagio on Lake Como excellent. Again booked online in advance skips long queues and disappointment. Monumental cemetery worth a visit. Many attractions shut on Mondays.

Milan is a beautiful and clean city. The Duomo Cathedral is stunning and highly recommend visiting. It is an easy city to navigate and all interesting areas are in walkable distances. The subway is easy to use and very efficient. Milan is a safe and relaxed place to spend a few days with many options of trips to other italien cities via train.

Enjoyed visiting the Duomo and also taking the 250 steps onto the terrace at the top, we did visit the museum and inside if the church but preferred the terrace for being able to see the stonework in more detail and also great views. Also took the direct train to Lake Como and Turin on separate days and each took approx 1 hour, direct which were well worth the visit!

    I LOVE MILAN.

I LOVE MILAN. I love the old, the new, the architecture, street photography, the canals, art galleries, metro, food, churches, gateways into surprising areas. Easy to do a day visit to Lake Como [Varenna]. Piazza Gae Aulenti is my all time favourite place to visit and within walking distance of the apartment where I was staying. I booked photo workshops with Milan Photo Tour which I highly recommend.

We really really liked our receptionist. He was friendly, he knew the answer to every question and the best thing off all - he knew how to speak english (which is very hard to find in Italy). The location is a bit far from city centre but nevertheless it has good connections - by bus pr with metro, the camp even provides you with two taxi numbers. Lastly - air conditioner is life saver. It can get pretty hot in Milano and the best thing at the end of the day is nice and cold bungalow.

We enjoyed I like staying at the hotel because it provide a comfortable and convenient place to stay when I'm away from home. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and well-maintained. Also I cannot express enough about the great customer service I received from Ivan. He was professional and answered my questions. He was very obliging. The location was in the Milan City Center within a short walking right in the heart of Milan near Duomo. This made my visit convenient.

The hotel has a modern feel to it and the room, though on the smaller side, was cozy, very clean and well-equipped. The staff throughout the stay were fantastic - friendly, helpful and professional. The location is decent as the hotel is close to both the city centre and the Garibaldi train station (15min walk to both), but it's not right in the middle of town. The gym area was great. In sum, it's a very good hotel and I'd recommend it to anyone stopping in Milan.

The hotel is lovely and the workers there are very accessible and helpful. Many of the sights are easily walkable. and are also quite popular so reservations for tours should be planned for, and I didn’t get to see THE LAST SUPPER for lack of a reservation. The breakfast spread is excellent and the free drink each night is also a nice feature. I chose the Grand Duca diYork to pamper myself during my final 3 nights in Italy and i wasn’t disappointed!

Perfect variant for this price. Excellent location - close to train station where easy to get from airport and you can go to any city in Italy. But it’s better to use subway or tram to get city centre. Good apartment with everything that you need for leaving and cooking - wine opener and dish (even things for cooking pasta). Warm apartment enough. But if you need you can find many blankets in the wardrobe.

Clean, comfortable room with many amenities and an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. There was a nice balcony off the reception area to relax. I usually book a room overnight in Milano before leaving Italy because I fly out of Malpensa. This was my first stay here and I would definitely book again.
