We wanted a hotel a bit outside the town center, with a secure place for our car, and found just that, but we also found so much more. This is a quite family hotel, run by the most welcoming and friendly staff, from the women who welcomed us when we arrived to the owner couple serving us the best French breakfast you can desire. We were just driving through, and stayed just one night, but if you want to explore the Loire valley, Castel Fleuri in Tours is the place for you. We will return and do that!

It’s a brand new hotel at a very convenient location (walking distance to everywhere). It has a lovely little courtyard full of sunshine. The room was bright, spacious (felt larger than it looked on the pictures), with elegant decorations (I loved the wall paper and the dry flowers on the table) and very modern and convenient facilities. Had a good night of sleep in a comfortable bed. The room was absolutely quiet at night. The staff team was impeccable - everyone was super friendly and helpful. I arrived early in the morning, the lady who greeted me gave me great advices re the city. Later in the day, at the bar, I had very pleasant conversations with Simon and his new colleague.

The service was exceptional - the communication so responsive before we arrived, even booking us a reservation at a local restaurant (we arrived on a day the hotel’s restaurant was closed) and helping us when we arrived later than planned due to roadworks. The room was beautiful - a lovely combination of period and modern style, with a great bathroom. I highly recommend enjoying the gardens in the evening (if arriving on a day restaurant is closed, consider bringing a picnic and staying on site).
