The place is warm and cosy. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was excellent. We specifically asked for a room with a balcony and that is what we got.

A Casa das Muralhas étteremmel, szezonális szabadtéri medencével, bárral és közös társalgóval várja vendégeit Covilhã-ban. location is good though a little at the outskirts of town. for us it was perfect and planned in advance for hiking at the area. we were upgraded which was nice. the building is rebuilt over the ruins of a conservation house. staff was extremely helpful and provided advise and trails for hikes . dinner at the hotel is great and breakfast too.

This is a truly special hotel in an amazing location. Every detail is considered, from the room design, the textiles (wool of course!), the meals, the spa, and the service. We have stayed at many luxury hotels around the world and this is a truly memorable place. Also the staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

A Madre De Água Hotel Rural de Charme szálláshelye a Serra da Estrela-hegy lejtőin, Gouveia városától mindössze 5 perces autóútra, egy bor-, sajt- és olívaolaj-termelő gazdaságban található. This is small family hotel with great pool and very good vine and food. If you need anything more for breakfast, they serve you. Staff is also great. On our trip over Portugal we have stayed in five 4 star hotels (mostly small like this) and this was the best.

Casas da Lapa is a modern hotel ideally situated on a hill top, inside the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela. It is located within a typical mountain village, Lapa dos Dinheiros. The location had beautiful views. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating and the food was amazing. The room and facilities were great and very clean.

Top notch where nothing is too much trouble. Everyone has a smile and the overall vibe is delightful. There was an issue with WiFi in my room and it was responded to quickly and effectively. Food. Absolutely wonderful. The dinner menu at 40 Euros is a bargain... apertif, amuse boche, breads, starter, soup, main, dessert, and coffee. The food is well prepared and the portions are ample. I note the size of portions is much better than a previous stay seven years ago. Room. I stayed in the suite and love its ambience. Snacks. From 4 PM to 6 PM there is a selection of snacks... sweet and savory. They are diverse and change every day.

Located in Lajeosa do Mondego, municipality of Celorico da Beira – the Serra Cheese capital – Casas do Durão-Memories House is set at the base of the Estrela Ridge and offers a tranquil stay. A magical place with the family history that is around on the walls through pictures and family tools. The house housed a museum containing antique items that have been useful for the past 200 years. The hospitality was warm and generous and the generous breakfast with the beautiful dishes was a celebration.
