It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room with an open air bath. It is great for couples. The room was clean and spacious. You can use the open air bath as many times as you like and with privacy. We'll never forget the beautiful view of Mt Fuji from our room. The hotel also has a footbath on the rooftop and you can see Mt Fuji and Lake Fuji Kawaguchiko on a clear day. It was also lovely being served green tea on arrival in our rooms. We loved our stay.

The air-conditioned rooms at Hotel Asafuji have Shoji paper screens and a low table with floor chairs and cushions. Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. The staffs were very accommodating and welcoming. The service was top-notch. Location a bit further than the town but is still consider closed. Partial view of Fuji was amazing. Room was clean and comfortable.

The Japanese-style rooms at Historical Ryokan Hostel K's House Ito Onsen are air-conditioned and come with traditional tatami-mat flooring. Most rooms enjoy beautiful views of the Matsukawa River. This was our third stay here. It is just lovely. Spotlessly clean which is a bit of a feat in a 100 year old building with lots of nooks and crannies. Friendly staff. Good location in the centre of town. Great atmosphere and of course the wonderful onsen to soak out one's jetlag.

Situated 1.5 km from Takayama Station, Iroriyado Hidaya is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Takayama, boasting a garden, a shared lounge and private parking. It is located 2 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village and features luggage storage space. The ryokan has parking on-site, a hot spring bath and full-day security. the staff is great and the service is exceptional. exceeded all of our expectations.

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, as well as 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk.

Mount Daruma is 49 km from the ryokan, while Hakone Checkpoint is 22 km away. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Guests can have wine or champagne and chocolates or cookies delivered to their room. At the ryokan, all units have bed linen and towels. The location and the view of Mt Fuji at the property was just spectacular. The food and service was impeccable. Nina Lin was sharing with us all the great spots to take photos of Mt Fuji and we really enjoyed our conversations with her. The other older lady was very helpful and hospitable as well and we can't praise them enough for making our stay so memorable!
